ARNO'S BIO

De sales roots van Arno liggen in de telecom en technologie branche, waarin hij 8 jaar werkzaam was. In 1991 besloot hij voor het zelfstandig ondernemerschap als interim sales manager en sales strategy consultant. In 1995 richtte hij het bedrijf Artemis Performance Management op. Artemis faciliteerde –met 20 medewerkers in 2002– meer dan 50 (inter)nationale klanten met het bouwen van sales- en marketingorganisaties van vooral nieuwe toetreders in sterk concurrerende markten of landen. Artemis voerde daarnaast commercieel crisismanagement uit bij diverse organisaties waarvan de sales performance achterbleef.
In 2003 stopte Arno met zijn activiteiten bij Artemis wegens de ziekte van Hodgkin. Na zijn herstel richtte hij het geassocieerden netwerk USA United Sales Associates op. Met dit netwerk van ervaren, onafhankelijke business experts helpt hij zijn klanten om maximaal rendement uit hun sales organisatie te halen.
Naast zijn activiteiten bij USAssociates is Arno performance coach en keynote speaker. Arno voert een ‘prettige strijd’ tegen mediocrity en weet zijn standpunten hierover op een confronterende én hilarische wijze voor het voetlicht te brengen. Hij is proven specialist en serial xsellerator in commerciële outperformance. Zijn favorieten onderwerp is mindset & gedrag, waarmee hij een breed publiek stimuleert om het beste in zichzelf boven te halen. Zijn grootste succesformule is het maken van een not to do list en je te richten op alles (of het enige) waar je retegoed in bent.
Arno begon zijn sales blog in maart 2007 en wist in 2008 door te dringen tot de voorlaatste ronde van de Dutch Bloggies Awards, de jaarlijkse verkiezingen voor de beste blogs in Nederland. In de categorie zakelijke weblogs eindigde Dutch Sales Blog bij de beste twintig.
In maart 2008 kondigde Arno aan dat de aanstormende recessie het salesvak aanzienlijk gaat veranderen. In de zomer van 2008 heeft hij het e-book Recession Proof Selling gepubliceerd, waarmee hij de toon heeft gezet om de recessie als kans te zien. In februari 2009 presenteert hij het vervolg: Recession Proof Selling V2.
